It energizes me to help couples breathe life back into their relationships and to support individuals in reclaiming their sense of agency.

Everywhere we go we bring with us the story of who we are. We present differently in different contexts, the person you are with your partner is not the same as who you are at work or home. These various versions of ourselves each carry their own story. But sometimes it becomes difficult to see anything other than the problem, and we lose sight of the bigger narrative. My goal is to help you feel in control of your life again.

Through our conversations in therapy, we will begin exploring and traversing the gap between what is known and familiar to what is possible. It is my job to provide and present this opportunity in manageable steps. You come to therapy a level of potential for growth, in time you will begin to see a higher level of potential that is not currently available to you. In some ways it makes sense you’re having trouble moving forward, I want to build an alliance help you move in the right direction.

The greatest determinant of positive outcomes in therapy isn’t a particular technique or approach—it’s the relationship between therapist and client. That’s why this initial connection is so important, and why it can feel discouraging when you have to start over with someone new.

As someone who has been in therapy, I understand how important it is to feel heard and understood. I know the frustration that comes when that connection feels absent, and I’m committed to making sure that doesn’t happen here. Understanding you is essential to our work together.
