Amanda Miller, IMFT
Have you ever wondered, “How did we get so far apart?”
You love each other—but lately, it’s been hard to feel close.
Between parenting, work, and stress, your relationship may feel more like surviving than connecting. Maybe you’re stuck in the same unresolved arguments—or avoiding hard conversations altogether. The intimacy you once shared feels out of reach.
You’re not alone—and you don’t have to stay here.
I help couples move from emotional distance into deeper connection, trust, and renewed closeness. Whether you’re navigating conflict, parenting stress, feeling stuck in survival mode, or looking to build a strong foundation before or early in marriage, I offer a compassionate, structured space to slow down, speak honestly, and move toward each other again.
My approach blends evidence-based strategies with relational depth—because healing happens when we engage both the head and the heart. I use tools from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and trauma-informed, nervous system-aware strategies to help couples move beyond surface-level fixes and into lasting change.
Faith plays a central role in how I view marriage and healing. As a Christian therapist, I believe God brings restoration, grace, and growth even in places that feel too far gone. That said, I honor each couple’s story and meet you where you are—offering care that is compassionate, respectful, and aligned with your values.
This work isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling. My husband and I have been together for over 20 years and married for 13—but we’ve walked through seasons of deep disconnection too. At one point, we hit a season where we weren’t sure we’d make it. It felt hopeless. But when we invited God into the places we didn’t know how to fix, healing began. That experience didn’t just change our marriage—it deeply shaped why I do this work.
Couples I work with often leave therapy feeling more hopeful, more connected, and more like a team. They begin to enjoy each other again, communicate with more grace, and rebuild the trust they thought they’d lost.
You weren’t meant to just survive your marriage.
If you’re ready to feel close again—to rebuild trust, enjoy being together, and grow stronger together—I’d be honored to walk with you.
