You didn't dream your life together would be one endless cycle of pursue-withdraw, with neither of you feeling truly seen or understood. It is this pulling and tugging at our relationships that cause ruptures, which may feel beyond repair. You thought the passion you shared at the start would last forever, not slowly fade into exhaustion and frustration. When our relationships are in disarray, we struggle to show up as the best version of ourselves in all aspects of our lives and we may feel as though we are providing unrequited effort. I believe humans have a deep desire to not only be seen but also heard. It is in this seeing and hearing that we begin to deepen our connections with one another and enter into more fulfilling relationships. It is my hope that throughout our work together, with opened eyes and ears, you will begin to reconnect and transform what was once broken.
There is hope to reignite the spark and get your relationship back on track. There is no "perfect" person, but you do have the ability to build your idea of what a perfect relationship means to you. I am committed to helping you use conflict as a chance to connect, rather than drive you further apart. Through Gottman therapy and mind-body techniques, I give couples concrete tools to break destructive patterns, manage stress responses, and really listen to each other again. The spark from the infancy of your relationship may feel dimmed, but together, we will find the light again.
Therapy is an investment in a better future. It is worth the investment to start understanding each other on a deeper level and release the pain and resentment from years of disconnect. Therapy provides you with the chance to really see each other again. I work collaboratively with both partners to facilitate open and honest communication, deepen their understanding of each other's perspectives, and develop effective problem-solving strategies. By addressing underlying issues and patterns of interaction, I aim to help couples improve their connection, rebuild trust, and strengthen their bond. Through empathetic listening and evidence-based interventions, my role is to guide couples on a journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and ultimately, healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Therapy provides an opportunity for couples to re-imagine their relationship through a new lens. Within our therapeutic journey, you will develop tools and techniques that will carry you into the next stage of your relationship. Through strengths-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered lenses, I will support your journey toward healing in a holistic and evidence-based approach. Thank you for taking your first step with me.
You deserve the chance to rebuild a strong, vibrant relationship and feel truly happy together once more. Isn't finding your way back to that worth fighting for? I'm here to help you win that fight. Don't wait another minute - book an appointment today to begin your journey to the passionate partnership you know is possible.
