We are the “parents” of Reconnecting Columbus, Marriage & Couple Counseling in Columbus, Ohio. Our practice was built much like our 28 year relationship, on our blood, sweat and tears.

Reconnecting Columbus was born out of our love for and commitment to helping other couples realize their dreams in their relationship.
We met in 1996 as rambunctious teenagers, not knowing what “us” would come to mean. We just fit and soon were inseparable. So many people told us the relationship would fail. Almost 3 decades, 4 careers, and 3 children later we are still just as much in love as we once were. We have held one another up when we wanted to give up. We’ve faced some of the hardest challenges a couple could face. We’ve seen one another at our best and at rock bottom. We know what it is like to decide to be together each and every day
We saw there was a dire need for qualified, well-trained, effective relationship counseling and therapy in Columbus. We made it our mission to fill the void.
This Practice isn’t just a business to us. It is a passion. It’s drive. It was a twinkle in our eyes but we had to create the blueprint. It’s our something out of nothing. It is a belief in the seemingly unattainable. So many people told us this dream was impossible. Yet, 9 years later, here we are!
Many of the couples helped through our practice have similar stories. They come to us not knowing if they can do what may seem impossible. We are here to tell you – all hope is not lost. Don’t listen to the world, listen to that small voice inside you. Your dreams are within reach if your willing to work for them.
